Mastercam Training Classes:

We are expanding our Mastercam classes to include a higher focus on toolpaths, as customers have expressed that they are often already supplied with 3D files and less CAD creation is necessary from Mastercam.

“An Introduction to CAD/CAM with Mastercam” will cover introductory machining concepts, the foundations of CAD drawings, and basic 2D Toolpaths. If you have little, none, or some CAD experience and would like to develop your skills to include the CAM machining side, this class is for you.

“Mastercam 2D Mill” will focus on Mill Level 1 toolpaths including Contour, Drilling, Pocketing, Thread Milling, Circle Mill, 2D Highspeed Toolpaths and Feature Based Mill/Drill.

“Mastercam 3D Mill” will now cover Mill Level 3 toolpaths.  Multisurface Roughing including Parallel, Radial, Project, Flowline, Contour, Restmill, Pocket and Plunge.  Multisurface Finish including Parallel, Parallel Steep, Radial, Project, Flowline, Contour, Shallow, Pencil, Leftover, Scallop and Blend.  This class also covers High Speed 3D Toolpaths.

“Mastercam Advanced Mill”  Further information on Mill Level 1 toolpaths and more in-depth Toolplanes for Vertical Machining Centers with Rotaries and Horizontal Machines are explored.

“Mastercam Design and Solids” Takes you through 2D Geometry Creation, 3D Wireframe Creation, Surface Creation and Solid Creation tools.

We strive to provide flexible and relevant training to help all Mastercam users, whether beginner or skilled, to expand their capabilities to take advantage of this ever changing CAM world.
